The Irish Association of Healthcare Assistants (IAHA) aims to elevate the professional standard and performance of HCAs through a formal recognised qualification, continued professional development and advocacy, while striving to build strong alliances with Health Professionals and Agencies to maximise quality care for Service Users.

We believe this is achieved through fostering high standards of professional conduct, training and competence among those registered.

The IAHA will endeavour to ensure that HCAs are included as valued members of the nursing team.
